Caught from Dinamalar ! One of my favourite Ads that keep my eyes fixed on the hoarding.., I peep out of my window right from the beginning of the Anna Fly over and watch it till i cant turn my head anymore.

I couldnt however, get a quality picture of that.. luckily Dinamalar put it on paper, and I managed to make a good wallpaper out of it.

I was in Mumbai when the festival aroma was out in the streets. Places were being reserved for huge Idols of Lord Shri Ganesha to be placed on the day of Vinakaya Chathurthi.

I've already seen this earlier, the way Mumbai celebrates Pillayar. I had also felt it in Chennai, few years back. It was a joyous occasion to go to the market to buy Pillayar made of clay. But Chennai doesnt seem to have the spirit Mumbai does, in terms of celebrating this festival.

Outside my bedroom. I tried this with different ISO Levels. This is ISO 80 that allowed minimal light within.. Manual Focus in DSC H5 rocks.

A very good example for Super Steadyshot of Sony !

This Squidoo was on the top of the next building.. and a 12 X zoom was helpful to reach it. But the shake was too bad, and made me think if i had nervous disorder. Thankfully, the image stabilization button was right below my finger, and Click !

I always wanted to capture beautiful flowers and colorful birds. But Chennai can offer only some Pavazha Mallis and Crows. I found this crow in Marina beach.

My Cousins... I liked the way the flat was constructed. The advantage of having steps covering four sides is that the steps wont be very steep. You wont feel tired atleast.

Margazhi maasam always has delightful mornings. With fog and laziness surrounding the sleep, you will never feel like hitting the day. And the beautiful Color Kolams, exhibitted at the front of each house, keeps telling the culture is still there.

My mom and other members in the flat, today made a good one. Snapped it and photoshopped it. It makes a great wallpaper for Hi-res. Try it.

Thanks to Bala (Karthik) for posting the pictures, and letting the world know.

I was of the impressions, that these were attached to the movie.. So, gave both the photos a Photoshop work, and merged into one. And of course, the Text effects gave more authenticity.

Guys, this is not an official picture released by the movie crew.

After I have moved to a different office (in the same company), I needed to update the Extension Numbers and Voice Net numbers of Peers and Bosses. So, took out a A4 paper folded into apt dimensions, wrote the numbers on it, and drew a design... Its all pencil.

Looks good, doesnt it. Why dont you try one !!

My Keyboard, Up closer and Personal :)

TVS Gold Keyboard in Black is quite a rare get. I like the Typewriter sound when I type. I hate the feathertouch keyboards for that matter. Also the unwanted keys on a Multimedia keyboard. A simple keyboard like TVS Gold is something that enhances my Avyukta Experience.

Self Portrait taken and touched on Microsoft Acrylic and Adobe Photoshop.

I tried using Microsoft Acrylic, and am not fully aware of its features, yet.
If someone is interested, lets explore together. :)

Effects used : Brightness Contrast Adjusted at Optimal levels.
Surface Blur and Color Pencil strokes on Photoshop.
And a few other filters on Acrylic.

This picture of Darshan, which you might have seen already on Avyukta, is given a Collage effect on Picasa !!

If you havent used Picasa, I reccomend you to use it. This is by all possible ways the best Photo Organizer ever. Simply because it is (now) from Google. It has one-stop Photo fixing, and quick edit options, that you can apply over an Image to enhance it.

If you had seen Ghajini's trailers, you would have seen these kind of polaroid effects showing up. You could do this yourself on Picasa !! Click here to Download Picasa !

I had this video from Alaipayuthey..
Using Power DVD, I took screen shots, and photoshopped it.

The Song that impressed me than any other.
Makes me long to be on that screen like Madhavan, jumping.

Camera - Music - Lyrics - Choreography - Maddy - Shalini and Mani.
Just about everything being perfect about this song.

I usually dont send eGreetings. Instead, I google Image Search and make a pic of my own.

This one was when me and my friend Manu were in deep mental tension about the job, that we did not get. I was atleast having rays of hope, but he was confused to the core. Thats when I sent this one to him.

Thankfully as I had hoped, we both were on Jobs on June 18th. I joined eFunds and Manu went to Xansa.

Wazowski - Avyukta

Avyukta Featuring Mr. Mike Wazowski (Click for a bigger picture)

Thats my computer Avyukta on the day I got it, after assembling at my old home. A week after, I got a new house.. Avyukta is lucky, you know ;)

Mike Wazowski, in case you did not know, is an amazing person appearing on Monster's Inc. The attitude this character displays is something worth following. There are lots of fan clubs over the internet, for this guy. Please watch Monsters Inc, if you havent.

This photoshop however wasnt that good, except for the fact, that the arms are touched and are not from the original pic (as you can see on the monitor). The picture you see on the monitor is from whaere wazowski is brought out into the room. The other arm was tilted and cut from another picture in the movie. :) Huh ! Visualize this picture for a moment, a character on screen popping up into real - life.

You could have seen this picture somewhere. Or you may have it on your bedroom wall. Or you may not have seen it at all. If any of the above statement applies to you, then click on the picture to enlarge the size, and set it as your wallpaper.

Recommended to have a screen resolution of 1280 X 1024.

The poem was taken from some site, and the guy who wrote it didnt care to leave his name. So, I've not credited him. But the painting is a legendary "Eugene Smith" one. The picture was a old one, and did not require much of photoshop works as the gradient by itself was getting blacker at ends.

However, it was ununiform gradient, so had to manually adjust the greyscale at edges. The Fon on the top is called "Scriptina" which is my favourite font, and does magic everytime i use it.

Welcome to the new Photo(shop)blog.

This photo(shop)blog will continue in existance as long as I fund for a new Digital Camera. After that this becomes a photo blog. Iam a Adobe Photoshop fan, and usually create some good images on that. So, here's the best place to host it, and thought we might even have it as a collective effort to shed our photoshop feelings.

I know many of us, like to manipulate images. (Few photobloggers use photoshop just to have their Watermarks on their images). Here's one place, where you could submit your photoshop creations too.

However, Im not sure, how long this will be done with interest. But then, as long as the interest exists, let me give my best shot.

United States of India

This was something I did in the past, when the news media was focussing on the American impact on India. Amazingly everyone, in the middle class, has some connection in the US. In most of the cases the Uncles are in the United States, and this guy here will have a watch from there. You will most certainly see Zip-lock bags from US in their fridges.

A relative from virtually every family is in some state of US. Imagine !
I still feel US has dominated Indian minds.
That includes me, Im waiting for an Onsite opportunity. Duh !

I welcome many other Photoshops or Photos, that reflect the theme.
